Royal Manor Arts College proudly presented the Youth Theatre production of the smash hit musical Billy Elliot to a full house at the Weymouth Pavilion theatre on Friday 9th July. Well done to the cast, teachers and supporters whose hard work made this amazing event possible. You deserved the standing ovation from the 1000 strong audience.

Portland Academy

National Teaching Awards 2010

We are delighted to report that eight members of staff have been nominated for these prestigious awards. Well done to them all. In addition we have been nominated as a College in the category for the 'Best Team' award.

As from September 2010 Royal Manor Arts College will be offering a wide range of online vocational and applied learning courses at level 1 and level 2 via Vision2Learn. Initially these courses will only be available for students but it is planned to offer them to other members of the community as soon as we can.

  Congratulations to the staff and dancers who took part and came 3rd in this year's Global Rock Challenge held at The Pavilion Theatre Bournemouth. To have done so well against much larger schools with sixth forms is a fantastic achievement. We are all proud of you!

Artsmark Gold

Arts Council England award RMAC the Gold Artsmark for the third time, June 2009. They also present RMAC with an Outsatnding Contribution to the Arts Award!

We have once again been awarded Investors in People status (December 2009). This prestigious award recognises the high standards of training, support and career developmant available for all staff at RMAC.
